On New Year's Eve, the restaurant giant Ginza Project opened one of its largest projects - Gastronomy on the top floor of the Olympic Plaza shopping center (in the same building as the Finland Visa Application Center). The place for the holding is not quite typical: there is no Caucasian cuisine on the menu, but there are a lot of original dishes developed by chef Anton Isakov.

The private Experimentanium museum, where children and adults can touch science with their hands, opened in Moscow in March 2011 and a year later reached self-sufficiency - an event unheard of for museum business. Sidreria, the new project of the team of the Tsvetochka bar by Dmitry Mironov, Sergey Solovyov and Leonid Norin, started working at the Cinema House on Karavannaya Street. A format that was not previously in St. Petersburg is quite popular in Spanish villages and small towns: cider is produced at establishments and is drunk there.

Soccer Place Bar & Restaurant is a project of two entrepreneurs Denis Gertsovsky and Irina Isaeva. It is located a stone's throw from Petrovsky and Yubileiny and is aimed at those who are interested not only in solid food, but also in the history of football. On the ground floor, directly below Soccer Place, there is another restaurant of the same owners, Desires.
A successful lawyer and a well-known gastronomy lover Alexander Rappoport opened the "Chinese Certificate" on Sretenka - the first restaurant of its own. Prior to this, as a co-owner, Alexander opened the Ginger (more than ten years ago) and Meat Club restaurants, and also recently remade the dull The Bridge into a very decent Brasserie Bridge.

Ekaterina Pavlova and Pavel Kalinsky launched their project a year ago, and the appearance of a stationary point was a logical continuation of their work. The Big Cake House service works with a large number of individual orders, including wedding ones, and the owners decided to get a place for meetings with clients in the city center.
Mikhail Sokolov and Timur Dmitriev opened a place that is a cross between their network Italy and their Belgian pub Brugge. They call the "Birreria" a gastronomic pub, implying the presence of a large beer card and Italian cuisine verified in past establishments. In “Birreria” the emphasis was shifted from wine to beer and the menus were selected accordingly: the appetizer section almost entirely consists of Italian street food that goes well with this drink.
A year ago, which came under the control of the Ragout team (Alexei Zimin, Ekaterina Drozdova and Semyon Krymov), the restaurant of the Central House of Writers was opened seriously updated. They touched on the changes in both the interior and the kitchen. Now we are dealing with an interesting modern restaurant, which we want to go into not only because of the legends associated with its past, but also for food.
A month ago, on Leningradsky Prospekt, the culinary space of Local Food, a project involved in holding fairs of the same name in different parts of Moscow with the participation of small district cafes, cooking studios and amateur chefs, was launched in test mode. And last week, the site became the site of the permanent residence of the project.
On Tsvetnoy Boulevard, the first chocolate bar of the famous Israeli brand Max Brenner opened in Moscow. A small noodle cafe on Maroseyka - “VokVok” - was opened with a partner by Seyran Gevorgyan, co-owner of Tequila Bar, Mulata Bar, Martinez, Secret Bar, Cuba Libre Bar and Rock'n'Roll Bar. The slogan of the Asia in a box cafe literally reflects what is happening inside: cardboard boxes serve food similar to Asian (mostly noodles and rice on a wok), and everything else outside the boxes is completely non-Asian: from the interior to desserts.
